CONTESTS: Spooky cabin/campsite AND costume contest. Winners for both announced Saturday night at the Monster’s Ball.
FRIDAY
The weekend begins with our Haunted Trail Walk on Friday evening. Afterward, we’ll celebrate the Rocky Horror Picture Show on the big screen. Costumes and participation encouraged.
After you’ve done the time warp, gather at the bonfire for a weenie roast and s’mores. (If you want a cream pie, you’ll have to arrange that yourself…all the ingredients will be available.)
SATURDAY
The HEATED pool will and hot tub will be open all day. At 2 PM, we’ll have a pumpkin carving contest at the pool. (If you can bring your own that’s great, but we’ll have a few to share. We’ll also provide some basic carving tools.)
All pumpkins will be displayed on the stage for our costume contest at the Monster’s Ball.
At 6:30 PM, we will have a sit-down community meal. (Reminder that the meal is included with camping and cabin reservations: day visitors and residents can join us for $10.)
At 8:00 PM, we go trick-or-treating! Grab your trick, meet at the Pavilion, and we’ll kick off a Creepy Camp Shot Crawl. Halloween costumes are encouraged! The shot crawl will wind up back at the event hall where we will host our annual MONSTER’S BALL & Costume Contest. Winners of the cabin/site decorating contest will also be announced. Grand prize will be a free weekend for 2 at WO. Music, more booze, and a big ol’ Halloween party!
